Gary Faid

Gary holds a 1st Dan and is a highly experienced coach having been trained by Sensei Hosaka, Kodokan 8th Dan to FPJ level 2. He is particularly interested in training and developing Junior and Primary Judoka and has worked hard to build the Kitsune-Gari Dojo. Gary took up Judo after watching his children get involved. Since then he's been a passionate advocate of the sport and has a deep interest in its history, etiquette and technical principles.

Dragonhead

Otherwise known as Steve Rand, holds a 1st Dan and has been involved in Judo for most of his life, also having been trained by Sensei Hosaka, Kodokan 8th Dan to FPJ level 2. As a youngster he trained with the British Judo Association before joining the BJC. Steve comes from a family of passionate Judoka that is now well into its third generation! He spent many years developing his Judo through competition and is committed to coaching and developing Kata (Judo Form). Oh, and this is one of his three little doggies!

Craig Barlow

Craig holds his 1st Dan, Club Coach Award and is also a registered Coach with the BJC and, like Steve and Gary, was trained by Sensei Hosaka to FPJ level 2. He first took up Judo at school, returning after a number of years in 2003. Craig is particularly interested in Kata and developing Judo for students with special needs.
